Lauren wasn’t exactly jumping at the idea of running. In fact, she might’ve sprinted in the opposite direction when it was first suggested. But that all changed when she became the first person to complete a WeekdayWarrior challenge in Cape Town, South Africa—meanwhile, the rest of us were busy dodging puddles in London.
Now, we don’t have a photo of Lauren in action just yet. But for now, all we can do is show you the jaw-dropping scenery we’re all (admittedly) jealous of. Don’t worry though—Lauren promised she’d lace up for another run soon, so an action shot is definitely on its way. And yes, we’re as excited for it as we are curious if she looks as cool as Cape Town’s mountains.
Even though Lauren was running solo, she didn’t just finish the challenge—she turned it into a full-blown experience for all of us, sending stunning photos of Cape Town’s beauty throughout the week. These pics quickly became the highlight of everyone’s day, mostly because they reminded us that Lauren had somehow traded London’s grey skies for vibrant ocean views and sunshine.
Lauren, you’ve not only made history as the first WeekdayWarrior to finish in Cape Town and all of South Africa, but you’ve also reminded us that the grass is, in fact, greener on your side. You inspire us! Now, about that next run… we're ready for the photo!
